Peppermint Tea Twist for a Holiday Hot Chocolate

Tis the season for cozy sweaters, twinkling lights, and the sweet aroma of peppermint in the air! With candy canes and silver lanes that glow, you can’t help but think of peppermint during the holidays. With the winter rolling in and the snow falling, a hot cup of cooling peppermint tea can become a comforting reminder of the holiday spirit.

Peppermint Tea: The Holiday Hero

Peppermint tea, the cherished winter companion, is more than just a brew; it’s the holiday spirit in a cup! The plant itself is a hybrid of watermint and spearmint giving you the best of both worlds, much like combining Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is beautifully aromatic and it provides a cooling sensation that comes from the menthol.

Peppermint is extremely versatile and over the years it has been creeping into everything from toothpaste to candy canes. We like it best as a pure, herbal tea. We love it not only for its cooling and refreshing taste but also for all of the benefits that it provides. Peppermint is famously known for freshening breath, which peppermint tea can do, but it is also excellent for easing stress and helping the digestive system do its thing. This will come in handy when you end up overeating at the festive family feast.

It is even known for boosting your memory which might come in handy for remembering where you hide all the presents you’ve bought.
