Pineapple is a super sweet and delicious tropical fruit enjoyed all by its lonesome and in an array of recipes. We believe, however, that pineapple is best enjoyed as a delicious beverage especially when combined with tea. During summer’s hottest days, here is a tropical green tea that can keep you refreshed all summer long.
The Secret is in the Sencha
The secret to our Pineapple Paradise Green Tea is in the green tea base known as Sencha. Sencha is the most popular Japanese green tea offering a light, crisp, and vegetal taste. The addition of sweet, tart, and tropical pineapple and mango, helps to balance out the flavors making for an unforgettable iced tea that really hits the spot.
In addition to making for an excellent iced tea in summer, it also makes for a great base for fermenting kombucha. Kombucha is an effervescent tea beverage full of healthy probiotics. It is a great replacement for soda.
