Pitcher-Perfect Iced Teas

FW0605FGR10

Nothing beats the summer heat like a tall, frosty glass of iced tea. And with so many flavors of tea to choose from, the hardest part of summer is deciding which iced tea to make for the day!

A few garnishes make iced tea even more interesting. Sweetener s like honey or raw sugar bring out the flavors, while a bit of fresh mint or slices of lemon highlight the natural sweetness to the tea. Feeling creative? You can experiment with all sorts of additions: cucumber, fresh berries, fruit juice, lavender, cardamom, milk… the options are endless! Just be sure to skip the milk if the tea contains citrus or hibiscus – otherwise the milk won’t mix in.

Orange Creamsicle Iced Tea Recipe

Make this easy iced tea with our 50-50 Delight Orange Creamsicle Tea or any of our other iced teas:

Steep tea in boiling water for five minutes, then strain out the leaves. Add sweetener generously, since iced tea requires more sweetener than hot tea. In a heat-resistant pitcher muddle the orange slices and mint. Add ice. Pour tea into pitcher and mix thoroughly. Enjoy!
