For the Love of Green

Ohhh, we love matcha. The vibrant emerald hue, the bright aroma, and the sweet, earthy flavor keeps bringing us back, literally for almost a thousand years. It’s traditional, yet modern, straightforward, and versatile.

The four principles of the Japanese tea ceremony are…

–          Harmony (with people and with nature)

–          Respect (of others)

–          Purity (of the mind and the senses)

–          Tranquility (peace of mind and appreciation of nature’s abundance)

We love how matcha brings us closer to these principals, who doesn’t need more of each of these weaved into our lives?

Matcha, with its vegetal, creamy, and full-bodied flavor, differs from any other tea. It’s green tea in powdered form, whisked rather than brewed. With matcha, you consume the entire leaf ground into a fine powder and dissolved into water. By consuming the leaf in this way, you take in all the nutrients held in the leaf.

Matcha is full of complexities; it’s sweet and savory, nutty and creamy. And our approachable flavored matcha brings new matcha drinkers to matcha.

Vanilla Matcha Green Tea Powder
The Natural vanilla flavor gives this matcha a sweet taste that’s accessible for those who don’t usually like green tea. And yet, it has a balanced enough flavor that even the most serious of tea connoisseurs will enjoy it as a fun break from their usual favorites. The flavor is bold vanilla with a grassy kick and hints of coconut. It’s sweet, even without any sweetener at all.

Organic Matcha Genmaicha Green Tea
This exceptional combination of two types of green tea and toasted rice offers a bright green cup and a buttery savory flavor. This blend of genmaicha, a traditional blend of bancha green tea and toasted brown rice, is taken up a notch by adding matcha. The resulting infusion is soothing and light, with a brothy quality and vegetal, nutty notes.
