Green Tea Smoothie Recipes

About this time each year, my blender earns a permanent position on the kitchen counter. In my opinion, smoothies are the perfect summer treat. They are cool, refreshing, delicious, and with an added kick of your favorite tea, they can be incredibly healthy to drink.

Now, I’m not talking about the ol’ standard smoothies made of strawberries and bananas, (although yes, those are delicious too), I like to take smoothies to the next level. I’ve experimented by adding avocado, spinach, yogurt, different fruits & berries, and of course, by adding many different varieties of tea.

I thought I’d share a couple of my favorite smoothie recipes:

Mango Mirabelle Green Tea smoothie:

1 banana
1 cup Mango cubes
1 cup Vanilla Matcha Tea
1 tsp Honey
½ cup Coconut milk milk
Add ice as desired

Super Food Green & White Tea Smoothie:

3 cups frozen white grapes
1 cup baby spinach
1 medium sized ripe avocado
2 tsp Honey
½ cup milk (any kind you prefer)
1 ½ cups Exotic Pomegranate White/Green Tea
Add ice as desired

Matcha Green Tea Smoothie:

2 tsp Match Green Tea Powder
1/2 avocado
1/2 cup non fat yogurt
1 cup almond milk
Add a few spinach leaves
Add your favorite fruit (bananas or strawberries work well)
Add ice as desired
