Inner Calm + Soothed Skin (Thanks to Tea)
What calms you? A good book, a long walk, a steaming mug of tea?
One of the easiest ways to add a moment of calm to your day is to brew a cup of tea. Enjoy the process. While it’s steeping, take a few deep breaths and stretch. Drinking loose leaf tea is a small way to slow down and be more present. To learn how to calm and ground yourself with tea, read our Simple Morning Tea Ritual blog post.
Caffeine-free herbals are an excellent option for nighttime relaxation. Check out our Herbal Tea Buying Guide. These herbal tea blends are naturally caffeine-free—we don’t use any chemical process to make them that way. More importantly, our sleep-aid teas are incredibly soothing.
It’s not just herbals with calming qualities. Our customers love chamomile (we have two fantastic chamomile blends) but enjoy other teas for their calming qualities as well. Both white and green teas are minimally processed and known for their high antioxidant levels.
Some of Our Very Best Calming Teas:

SOOTHING
Chamomile Lemon Mint Herbal Tea
This blend holds a trifecta of relaxing ingredients. Chamomile, lemongrass and mint combine to produce a calming and fragrant cup. Chamomile is known for its calming effects and may help you relax and ease tension. Peppermint may soothe an upset stomach and relax sore muscles while lemongrass fights inflammation.

BALANCING
Slip into the flow of life. Find peace and unity in what you see and do. Light meets dark. Lemon verbena and rose offer high notes. Ginger and cinnamon provide depth, while apple adds a sweetness that smooths everything. Absolute balance.

HEALTHFUL
Tulsi is a beneficial aromatic herb and is the central ingredient of this healthy blend. Sip it and discover why many generations before ours have celebrated this herb for its calming, curative qualities. There are notes of sweet citrus, a little chamomile-like herbaceousness and mint. It’s cooling yet deliciously spicy. With the tartness of orange peel and rosehips, this blend just might become your favorite herbal tisane.

HARMONIOUS
This tea is a blend of blossoms, leaves and fruits. The practice of Feng Shui aims to achieve free-flowing energy by creating harmony between people and the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal and water. The ingredients of this blend are thoughtfully blended to represent four of those elements. You pour in the fifth element—water.

WARMING
This chai variation is naturally caffeine-free. Like classic chai blends, our Red Bush Chai supplies a potent mix of warm spices. A focus on cinnamon, ginger and cloves deepens this blend, while organic rooibos gives it a bit of sweetness.

BENEFICIAL
Watch these leaves unfurl with each steeping. Ginseng Oolong brews up a cup with a pleasantly roasty aroma and a bright flavor that is herbaceous, toasty and faintly sweet. There is a combination of honey notes and gentle astringency in the aftertaste. Ginseng is considered an adaptogen, which may help support and regulate the body’s stress response system.

COMFORTING
Organic Silver Needle White Tea
This delicate, ivory-colored brew offers a sublime sip: clean and slightly earthy with silky sweetness.
The exceptionally smooth, woody flavor is free from astringency. It bears hints of mellow roasted nuts and fresh sweet herbs. The result is comforting and refreshing. This tea’s pure character and sophisticated flavor offer a complete experience, unlike any you’ve had before.

NOURISHING
Organic Golden Pear Peony White Tea
Fragrant Chinese Bai Mu Dan white tea is enjoyable on its own. It’s a mellow melon and floral notes combine impeccably with the sweetness of mango and pear. This blend is known for its high antioxidant count and potential health benefits, making it a delicious addition to your daily tea ritual.

SMOOTH
Organic Clouds & Mist Green Tea
The pale lemon-yellow infusion smells nutty and buttery, whispering of the creamy mouthfeel yet to come. The strikingly smooth flavor contains no astringency whatsoever. It’s light, sweet and enigmatic, like walking through the mists of an ancient tea forest high on a Chinese mountaintop. The soft, gauzy aftertaste has notes of purple grapes and lemon.
The power of green tea goes beyond the cup. This antioxidant powerhouse works topically too!
