Tea Ice Cubes for Iced Tea and Summer Pops
Are you disappointed when your iced tea gets watered down when ice cubes melt? Tea ice cubes solve that little summer problem. There’s no use in an ice-less brew, so we’ve given you a few recipes for making ice cubes with tea. They keep your cold drink cold while not watering down the flavor.
How to Make Tea Ice Cubes
Freeze it! Be sure your tea ice cubes stay in the freezer for at least four hours so they will be solid.
These teas make great tea ice cubes:
50-50 Delight Orange Creamsicle Black Tea
Blackberry Hibiscus Fruit Tisane
And to make tea ice cubes even more cool in your glass, try adding:
Lavender buds in ice cubes with Harmony Tulsi Herbal Tea
Rose petals in our White Mimosa White Tea ice cubes
Fresh mint leaves with Chocolate Mint Rooibos
Lemon zest in Juicy Fruit Yerba Mate
Tea ice cubes also make a fun little summertime pops all on their own. Freeze them into popsicle trays, and enjoy them as a treat in place of sugary ice pops. You can also blend tea ice cubes with a bit of fruit juice for added sweetness, or add them to smoothies.
Use tea ice cubes to make any cocktail or fruit juice tastier. Try adding Raspberry Champagne White Tea ice cubes to a glass of your favorite glass of sparkling wine. In general, just brew the tea with a little more leaf than you usually would, cool and freeze.
