Fruit Tea Sangria Recipe
Makes 6 servings
4 cups brewed Strawberry Melon Green Tea or your other favorite loose leaf tea (brewed double strength)
2 cups white or red wine (or fruit juice for a non alcoholic version)
1 teaspoon honey
2 cups chopped fresh fruit – strawberries, blueberries, grapes, mandarins – your choice
Combine tea, wine or juice and honey until blended and honey is dissolved completely. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Before serving, add in fresh fruit. Enjoy chilled, over ice.
Tip: If you want use honey to sweeten the tea, heat for a few seconds in the microwave so it dissolves in the sangria easier.
