Summertime Tea Margarita Recipes
A tea margarita, sometimes called a teagarita, is the perfect summertime cocktail. A margarita usually consists of tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice. It is generally served with a salted rim and a lime. With a teagarita you simply add tea to the mix. That means that with as many tea options available you can make a plethora of uniquely flavored teagaritas.
The quality of the ingredients and the care in preparation contribute to the quality of the drink. It is always best to begin with the highest quality ingredients. If you use a low-quality tequila and off-brand orange liqueur, you can expect a low-quality, subpar cocktail. In that same vein, if you use a low-quality, store-bought tea, you can expect a less than optimal experience.
We recommend brewing your own tea with high-quality loose leaf tea from Fusion Teas. It will only add to the flavor and quality of the cocktail. Not only that, but when you tell your friends that it’s made with freshly brewed tea, you’ll sound like a true Zen master mixologist.
Here are a few teagarita recipes to help you get started. You can always experiment on your own as well with any of our tea options.
